Annie was waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up from work. She had been working at the museum for years now but since her car died she’d had to have her boyfriend pick her up every day because she got out too late to catch the bus home. Her boyfriend didn’t mind picking her up but he didn’t get off work at the same time every day and when he got stuck late Annie had to wait around for him.
